mac change between os9/x (which are you running?)
I have been using OS 9 up to now, so my OS X knowledge is limited, but I have decided to go OS X now as this is a new job/project.
Not much point in starting with OS 9 and then have to switch after a while, but my current problem is trying to learn my new job AND OS X. ---
i'm pretty sure we set a printer up to share from a mac using the built in 'share printer on usb' in os9 - from what i remember, the pc could see it...
I know Macs are pretty good in this respect, but I'm faced with the opposite scenario... :o( --- At my previous workplace the Mac would find the printers directly as they were Ethernet and therefore existed as an IP address, but here it's all dependent on how the printer is shared from a crappy old PC...
