Would suggest using hardware instead: A cardreader.
I use a Medion 8 in 1, USB 2.0/1.1. Euro 8,- (= US$ 10,-)
Box only talks about Windows but all Apple drivers are on the included
mini-CD too. Take care with these mini-CD's: NEVER use these in a
slot-loader only in a tray-loader!!
I made a test with 6 (incl. MD) of the 8 possible cardtypes. All worked
properly with different Macs running 8.6, 9.1, 9.2.2 or 10.2.8.
Why a cardreader??
1) Combination of price and possibilities.
2) No bs with camera drivers/connection-cables/appl. needed by camera etc.
3) No wasted space for items under 2).
4) More important: No systemtroubles with items under 2).
5) No camera-battery-power needed.
6) Nearly every camera with its spec. medium welcome.
7) Very fast! Media will show up in secs as a disk on your desktop!
8) You can simply use your reg. appl. (PS, GC or whatever) now.
9) You even can clean the media, much easier as in a camera!

HTH,

Jo
