Would suggest using hardware instead: A cardreader.No doubt about it

A card-reader wouldn't work for my situation as the camera is USB only.
Thanks to someone else's suggestion, I've found some US$9.95 shareware that works well enough to use. As I don't even own this camera, hopefully I can take the pictures I need before the software expires.
