What system bus speed does it show 66 MHz, 100 MHz, or something else?

System bus speed is 100 MHz.

Do you know if it had the original 300 MHz processor, or had been upgraded?

As far as I can tell, it only had the original 300 MHz cpu. The jumper block is black, the color for original 300 MHz cpus.

How much memory, and what kind did you put in it, and what video card did you put in it?

It's got two 128 MB DIMM sticks, which I pulled from a working G3 266 desktop. They are a matching pair, made by Viking. They've passed all kinds of RAM tests I've run.

The video card is a 32 MB ATI Rage 128, made in 1999.

In addition, the machine has Open Firmware 3.1.0, ROM Revision $77d.45F6, Boot ROM revision 1.0f5, and Mac OS ROM version 7.8.1.

The main problem is that it won't boot from the hard drive because it wants me to do a G3 firmware update, and it won't let me get to the hard drive. Catch-22! But it boots and runs just fine off a bootable OS 9 or 9.1 CD.
