A good quality, properly calibrated LCD is quite > comparable to any CRT made. > > -- > Bruce Johnson Having bought a Samsung 19" multisync LCD at around £340 - not too cheapo - about a year ago I can honestly say that the colour quality is inferior to even a mid range crt like my old Eizo 19" shadow mask even though I calibrated the Samsung and twiddled endlessly with the settings. Similarly the colour quality of a G5 iMac is inferior to a good crt - I regularly use two 17" G5 iMacs. Limited viewing angle is also vastly inferior to crt - stand up or move to the side and the screen changes colour - there is some way to go yet for lcd.
