So, just that I may understand this assertion in light of the opinion held here by many that Apple computer hardware is the cream of the computer crop comparable to Mercedes Benz automobiles in quality you are saying Apple did NOT design the motherboard architecture to run OS X as well or better than any other hardware? Say it ain't so Dan! As far as the "ported" vs "authored" debate, if you are talking about BSD or any antecedents I wouldn't know. But don't you remember the controversy on these lists when Apple was selling PCs for OS X development?
