I can't think of how many times I've tried drag and drop on Debian or 
Fedora.  I've tried it several times in a row with idea I was missing 
something and that if I kept trying it would work.

Yeah, I keep hearing the "Linux will take over the world" mantra and see 
  no way of reconciling it with things like "Just edit the /etc/sysctl 
file" kind of fixes.
