Hi Bryan,
Agreed. Eloquence is fine for general day to day screen reader tasks, but using it in games or having it read books is terrible. For one thing it totally kills the ambiance for me. Tomb Hunter is a game series with a very strong female character roll. Therefore it follows the game's narration would be a female as well. Preferably a human sounding one if possible. Using a robotic voice like Eloquence, ESpeak, or a male character voice would simply have the wrong ambiance and feel.

No. Eloquence is totally wrong for a game like this. The only reason, and I mean absolutely the ONLY reason that I even use Eloquence in Window-Eyes is because of its fast response time. I wouldn't use it at all otherwise since I hate the voices. Homer: Hey, uh, could you go across the street and get me a slice of pizza?
Vender: No pizza. Only Khlav Kalash.
