Exactly. And that's one thing my fiance and I intend to keep in the forefront if and when we work together on games. As little synthe speach as possible and when it's required, as high quality as we can swing.

Agreed. Eloquence is fine for general day to day screen reader tasks, but using it in games or having it read books is terrible. For one thing it totally kills the ambiance for me. Tomb Hunter is a game series with a very strong female character roll. Therefore it follows the game's narration would be a female as well. Preferably a human sounding one if possible. Using a robotic voice like Eloquence, ESpeak, or a male character voice would simply have the wrong ambiance and feel.
