Hi, Ummm..Not a good idea, but can be fixed. Do you have any .Net Framework installed on your system? If no then DirectX will only update and install the C++ runtime libraries while not applying or installing any .Net based stuff. In such a case simply reinstall DirectX again after installing or upgrading .Net to 3.5 or 4.0.
