The single, most important reason here at my place: There is no immediately obvious way to install and use it properly in MS- Win. Without an installer of a readily usable version of pcb and gschem geda will have a difficult time at places like here where the majority of computers still runs Microsoft products. By the way, this is similar to why I dismissed Eagle in the first place. Although it runs in Linux, it is glacially slow and features some very annoying graphical bugs. Too much of a hassle ---> Look for some other solution... ---<(kaimartin)>--- -- Kai-Martin Knaak tel: +49-511-762-2895 Universität Hannover, Inst. für Quantenoptik fax: +49-511-762-2211 Welfengarten 1, 30167 Hannover http://www.iqo.uni-hannover.de GPG key: http://pgp.mit.edu:11371/pks/lookup?search=Knaak+kmk&op=get _______________________________________________ geda-dev mailing list [email protected] http://www.seul.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/geda-dev
