Spring will continue to be released in central maven, and they can depend from artifacts in central. Although, I'm not sure if the depended libs in central is osgi friendly yet, as the ones in spring s3's and SSER's. To get back to the initial discussion, it seems that there's no good solution for Equinox at this time. You guys need to host Equinox at your own (OPS4J) repository, bcuz there's no such thing as official Equinox maven repo yet. We may need to persuade Orbit guys to work on this, but it's not a dependable solution. I wasn't complaining that OPS4J need to deploy artifacts in OPS4j's own Maven, which is fine. But that Pax-runner need to download Equinox from OPS4J Maven, although Equinox is a "common enough" artifact that should've been downloadable from a "common enough" repository (i.e. maven central). Sadly, this is currently not the case, as Equinox is not only old in maven central, it also has an incompatible JAR naming than the official Equinox as released by eclipse.org. Regarding Spring and Spring DM, since they're already on central maven (and will continue to be, I guess), and not depend on "outside artifacts", Pax Runner can still use the artifacts there. (cannot be said for its dependencies, though, i.e. for OSGi purposes) -- Best regards, Hendy Irawan
