Hello Ian,
OK, I connect my PPP and then my NIC. If I disconnect the NIC, and then try to
reconnect it, I get an "err offline: could not put
DEVS:Network/ariadne_ii.device unit 0 offline".
What gives? It is already offline and I just tried to connect (put it back
online).
I can't get the NIC back online again until I reboot the computer. Current
work around, I don't dare try taking offline (disconnect) again.
When the NIC is online:
On my NT computer, I have the Gateway IP set as 10.10.10.1 (pointed to my
Amiga's NIC address). I am unable to access the internet with Netscape. I can
ping my Amiga (10.10.10.1) and From my Amiga I can ping the NT machine
(10.10.10.3)
Isn't the NT machine suppose to find it's way to my Gateway (10.10.10.1) and
then continue on thru the PPP to the internet?
Note: I haven't changed anything on the NT machine, and it access the internet
thru my LINUX box OK.
When we resolve this, I am sure I can come up with more ;-)
Thanks again, LeEric
