I also had a buddy that was saved by a shoulder harness and one that
died in a teenie homebuilt that did not have one.In the Coupe,I believe
that all we have to do is adjust the harness part so that it kind of
throws you over to the left a little on impact.This gives you the room
you need to duck down and still not hit the yoke or panel.Before I
retired,I have seen car accidents where the sun visor killed people when
they hit it with their forehead,went in maybe 3 inches.I can not even
get some of the people at the airport to wear seat belts in their cars
so I know that this will be a judgement call for each person.Strangley
enough,I fell a lot better after posting this.Jim in Ct.
