Well , maybe the Ceconite the acrylic paint are not heavy - they still
weight.

As for the corrosion : If you think the inspection holes on the bottom
of the wing s not good enough then I can not understand why we also not
peel off that bottom skin and replace that every 20 years of so with
ceconite.
I bet there will be reports that it will fly better also.

I am not convinced.  There is nobody having real data.
I can see how a cloth wing flies different , but that is  probably one's
preference.
