Yes, it is what we use. Doesn't do as much fancy stuff as some of the other Javascript libraries, but then we're not into bling and eye-candy, we're into industrial-strength. But there are other good libraries, and plenty of reviews comparing them. Worth looking around and comparing and testing the libraries before making a decision, based on your needs. But solid, open-source cross-platform Javascript libraries do definitely exist.
