Dear Raeekand others,
Yes, yes..but I meant no malice toward anyone specifically..but have been
trying to critically acknowledge only two things here in the debate so far:
1.The issue of Chithralekha's (as a dalit woman, pitted against many odds
and the overall apathy from the HR activists of Kerala) struggle for
inclusiveness (in the civil society) , figures less in at least a few of
the postings rather than the 'go to hell' like responses, for reasons
whatever.( incidently,I believe that it is a typically brahmanic response
to any attempt in questioning the prevailing caste- gender sensitivities)
2.Abrupt attempts to excommunicate anybody who tries to raise a minority
point of view ,would also need to be identified as originating from the
status quoist mode (of relegating real issues to the back and exhibiting
petty egos to the fore).
Despite finding few to share, I humbly wish to persist.
Thanks.
