more over, the attempt to mock at collectivities will favour the statist and status quoist NGOisation these will reduce dalit/subaltern resistances to the itinerary of "new Social movements" such a reductive ontology has been cleverly planted ... either u remain essentialised or coopted to the civil society's terms and conditions, else will be outcasted let us appreciate differences, but at the same time dont be foolish enough to fall inot the trap of fanfare it'l create another CPM gundaraj only.. i appreciate dilip for raising his objections. i hope it will help us sharpen our further arguments but i think the indifference shown indicates the depth from wher kerala as a society has to rise up it should be noted that the question of morality was not raised in favor of chitralekha, but that for the so called "cultural leaders" (whover it may be..) it shows the need for sharpening the dalit/subaltern struggles within kerala and coordinate it at the pan indian level trasformng it into a national dalit movement... let us begin from small fights to prepare ourslves for the ultimate fight regards and JAI BHIM with metta
