What is so much 'fascist' in demanding response from distinguished people
with known allegiance to concerns of human rights, particularly in this
case, where atrocities continues to be perpetrated with near total impunity
against a dalit woman ?( And further, even in criticising them for being
silent?)
Critcising somebody for their silence and demanding response/ support are
two different acts.
While demanding, we are 'making' them Nayakar by assuming it
their special responsibility to respond to all issues.
while criticising Political parties for their silence, we don't invest such
hope in them. We take them for what they are. we also anticipate change in
their position in the course of the movement.
We believe that the movement will have effect on them as well. Those are
political victories not 'compromises".
At certain junctures the very people/ parties which stood against the issue
try to appropriate it.

That is why I insist on substanciating criticisms and allegations against
individuals. I am not saying that nobody should criticise them.
