i say to my two year old kid, "should we go to the grandparents
tomorrow?"
"alla akba, alla akba " he says after a second's thought.

for him, one of the most interesting experiences at his grandparents'
is the adhan from the nearby mosque.at times i go nuts explaining 'it
is not time yet',as he insists on hearing it every now and then.and
sometimes i have to imitate the call, which i do rather
well(assumption based on his smiling face), to calm him down.
