i dont think it s jst a question of a sloka
it s abt how the WE constrct centres of knowledge as an exclusivist domain
of and for a few who believe that they are born superior/meritorious and
what not...
even if that sloka is not there, or some one just dig out its word meaning
only, the ideological terror that it generate will remain
unfortunately, that terror deprives the majority of indian population of
their rights
denied a life with dignity
forced to live as lesser humans
whther one agree it or not, what is the value of such slokas which cant
recognise/repsect a human being
for me it has no value at all...
it s a bullshit that onlythese IITans can shamellesly wore as the gift 4m a
"golden" past...!

" The so called caste-hindus are bitterly opposed to the depressed class
using a public tank not because they really believe that the water will be
thereby spoiled or will evaporate but because they are afraid of losing
their superiority of caste and of equality being established between the
former and the latter. We are resorting to this satyagraha not becasue we
believe that the water of this particular tank has any exceptional
qualities, but to establish our natural rights as citizens and human
beings."
