Hello Johannes, the first question would be if the daughter is a virgin, both in the spiritual and in the provable sense. ISTR that lots of horse riding could damage the membrane in question. Even if she is no "slut", it might be possible to get her into some compromising situation with a stable boy, and call for a medical examination. What if the result is inconclusive? Who examines her? A nun? Can the abbess be influenced with the promise of a donation? Alternatively, can the daughter be maneuvered into leading some sort of rescue operation for the son? Make her believe that the old Baron would never survive such a trip, but that he'd try if he could, and give her the means to lean an expedition herself. Either she tries and gets caught, or she tries and wanders around for months in the wrong direction. In the latter case she just isn't available for marriage, and in the former case perhaps some innuendo could be spread to get the two parties apart. "The girl is obviously mad." "The boy wasn't man enough to join his beloved in her quest." "She actually tried to run away from a man she despises, but of course her dad would never admit that in public." Or make the old Baron believe that the groom insulted the bride and her family. Goad him into disparaging the backwards country hospitality. Get a tavern wench into his bedroom, while in the castle of the Baron. Two wenches. A barbarian swordswoman (or a swordsman). If one incident isn't enough, perhaps two will do the job -- clearly the boy in incorrigible.
