And in a RPG, you want an option to to assemble all PCs for planning sessions, plus room to talk to NPCs with an important red herring, and room to subdue PCs who have been taken over by alien mind powers, and room to decontaminate the space suits
after you got alien gloop all over them. It is never just a milk run.

The Runabouts from Star Trek DS9 and the Millenium Falcon from Star Wars feel about the right size for a player ship, but according to the GURPS rules they would be
insanely spacious.
