This is a classic case of rats on a sinking ship, Mike. FS knows that
it hasn't a cat in hell's chance of winning the case. This is simply
so that they can create unnecessary headache for GW in the hope that
v7 will be delayed.
You talk about the argument being on a point of law. Any lawyer worth
his salt would know that the action is a nonstarter. FS is simply
using its size to make life difficult for GW.

If this gets dragged through the legal system including appeals, the costs
to both sidees would be such that the only winners would be the attorneys
with both sides the worse for it regardless of legal outcome.
It's a shame that suits like this seem to rear their ugly heads, but it
will have to be settled in some way.
