One effect of lawsuits, in any industry, is the impact on prices -- both 
of FS and Gwmicro products in this instance.
With the legal cash registers jingling, neither company's customers stand 
to benefit.
Secondly, actions, whether warranted or not, have a dampening effect on 
competition -- and competition among players makes screen readers the 
robust products they have evolved into.
Actions often can have 3rd party intentions namely, in this instance, the 
smaller players in the field that have come out with no-cost or low-cost 
screen readers.
