Everyone, Like I mentioned before, the opinions mentioned are my own. I apologize if they don't sit well with some folks on here. So, I am done talking about FS, Jaws and my experiences with both.
If anyone wants to talk to me about FS or Jaws, please contact me off-list. Warm Regards.. Being Both A Jaws user and a Window Eyes user, I don't think Jaws is nearly as bad as some here make it out to be. I'll grant you their support isn't always great. But Jaws is quite stable and I rarely have any crashes of the program here. I've used Window Eyes 7 for a bit here and find it to be stable as well. Eloquence is more sluggish than it is with Jaws but I also understand that this is a new synthesizer for GW and their still working on it. It's kind of sad to see some of the Jaws bashing go on here and the fact that the GW staff allows it to go on without saying a word. On the lists that I run, I do not permit bashing of Window Eyes or any other readers. I know there are both Jaws and Window Eyes fanatics out there that swear their product is better than everyone else's. The fact is that each screen reader has it's strengths and weaknesses. I use both products for different things. I prefer Jaws and don't go out of my way to bash Window Eyes users just because I think Jaws is better. I wish people on this list that bash Jaws would stop doing so and respect everyones right to choose their screen reader of choice without being harassed for it.
