Rick

I suspect that a lot of this bashing is akin to high school pep rallies
where the action is reflexive rather than proactive.
Most WE users have never experienced JFW (including yours truly).
Having never used the product, there is no way I can comment on it with
any true meaning.
I believe, however, that JFW *must* be an excellent product given the
great numbers of satisfied users including many who use both JFW and WE.
Moreover, why I would ever want to become a unpaid cheerleader for
something I lay down good money for is beyond my imagination.
I like WE and am satisfied with it; but that's it.
Are any of you out there cheerleaders for Ken's salad dressing, Honda
Accords, Remington Shavers, or Fellows shreders?
Probably not; yet you may be very happy users, on an ongoing basis, of
their products.
I suspect that this cheerleading has a lot to do with a psychological need
to justify the expenditures for expensive adaptive equipment more than
anything else.
I can be a satisfied WE user (and suggest it to others) without being a
cheerleader and knocking other quality products.
And I thank the marketplace that there are good other screen readers for,
who knows, I one day may just need them.

My relationship with God begins with trust.
It also continues in trust.
