That's a good way to cover your butt 'rin'.
Maybe for these types of scripts a dis-clamor should be put up
stating such so newbies won't be downloading them thinking they're
getting something useful and spending hours mucking about and
wondering why they don't work.

Just so you and everyone else knows. This script was more of a proof
of concept rather than a replacement utility.

Did you actually try the add remove program to get rid of something?
here's what I found.
Well, the custom list box worked great.
But, when I tried to remove something, i got an error, it won't
work if it can't find an uninstall routine.
It won't trigger the usual buttons in the add/remove normal windows
dialogue, and it needs to be able to do this.
Further-more if you exit the script instead of landing you back on
the item you want to uninstall in the normal way, it puts you back
to the top, or wherever you were when running add/remove.
So this script is useless unless it finds the executable.
But I sure like the idea of that custom list box.
That's a step in the right direction.

all,
Regarding We 7.0, it is an amazing piece of software. I have been
working with it with a friend and I am very impressed by the
felexability in this version. The scrip central makes available
some very cool new features. I like the one that allows you to
bring up the add/remove dialog and move to a program by first
letter navigation and the ability to go directly to script central.
I also get much more feed back from Outlook Express than in
earlier version.
Also it seems tables in excel and word reader smoother.
So being scared is not really necessary. Thanks Gwmicro software
developers.
