Ann,
Just tried it here to be sure.
Bring up the save as dialog box with space s. Give it a couple seconds
for the current filename to appear.
Next if you want a new filename start typing. The old one will
disappear
once you start typing.
Once you have typed the filename, no extension needed, press the tab
key
(f3) and you should be in the file type box. The default file type
will
be shown. Press space until the file type you want shows or is spoken.
Finally press the tab key one more time and you should be on a confirm
button. Press enter there and your document will be saved in the
format
you choose.
If this doesn't work as described, try a reset of the braillesense and
then do it again.
This should work with either the voice sense or braille sense. I can't
recall which you said you are using.
