Hi, I never heard of firmware 5.22. Sounds like a setting gone wrong... The only remedy might be a reinitialization - Reset with the NEXT TRACK button (the right arrow on the front of the unit). Cheers, Joseph

I think the device was shipped to the school district last September or so. The previous TVI took it home to learn how to operate it, and she never brought it back to school so that the student could use it, or at least, that is what I have been told.
