Apple = Best customer service ever.......

2 quick stories.......

Mine:
Bought my first Apple, a 24" iMac, on a Saturday. Took it home, up and running
in 10 minutes like normal for Apple, played with it all day Sat and Sun. Sweet.

Went to work Monday and saw notices from Cnet, PCMag, ZDNet, etc, that Apple
just released new iMac's that day. Intel Core2 Duo processors, more memory,
larger HD's, etc.

Kinda thought and stewed all day, then called the manager at the store where I
bought mine, and asked, (politely of course), "Why didn't they tell me on Sat
when I bought mine that new ones were coming out in 2 days?" Seems Apple does
not tell them ahead of time so the sales associates don't mess up sales...

Anyhow, he says "No problem, bring it back and we'll give you one of the new
ones.

So I did, they did, and all was cool. Faster CPU, twice the memory, larger HD,
new video, etc... same price.

Would IBM, Dell, HP, etc ever do that?

So now I have that 24" iMac and 2 Unibody MacBook Pros, a 13 and a 15 inch...

My cousin:
Pro photographer, used his MacBook G4 everyday for 3 years when the video
suddenly went out.

Long out of warranty, but he took it down wanting to pay to have it repaired.
Turns out that parts were no longer to be had for those older G4's.

Apple then gave him a brand new 15" Unibody MacBook Pro just because they could
not repair his old one!!!!!!!!! All he had to pay was a 100 bucks cause he
wanted the matte screen update.

Is it any wonder he and I are Mac users?
