It would definately be interesting to see where Valve takes Steam in the future w/ HL and future mods, especially in the direction of *nix/BSD. Aside from that, from my experience with Tracker, I have found it to be more useful than any other IM client I had that was "gaming" based, when Tracker is truly dedicated to that. My question is, will Tracker source be included in the Steam SDK when it is released some day? It would be interesting to code addons for that and even design new UI's, etc.
