I see several maps with models in them but I can't see how this is done.
Any entity that has a "model" key could be used to display a model while the game is running.
I've noticed that Monster's can't be in a deathmatch. They just don't appear.
Actually, they do spawn, but they get removed on the next frame. Put...
sv_allowmonsters 1
...in your server.cfg file to cause them not to get removed.
If I wanted to put a cool tree or shrub model in my map how would I?
Monster generic wont even show up.
Try "monster_furniture" instead.
Also, Why did we not allow monsters in CS maps? (I assume it uses deathmatch code).
