I have used the Z3100 everyday in my business for one year. Not a single hitch of any kind. Beautiful fast printing of ultra permanece on all media. I would trade every other machine I have for one in a heartbeat. It is a beautiful piece of engineering and I can do absolutely everything with it. I paid for it the first job I did.
Sounds like either you have a lemon or this is totally a software screw up on the part of their engineers with that update. Now that IS scary.
