Talking about that, here is a trailer to a short feature movie made my
cinema students in Lugo

http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=GZBXlIMcKmc

(from the synopsis) It is about a blind man that roams around the streets
of Lugo with his dog and his new instrument, a hurdy-gurdy. When the
instrument is stolen, his life changes so drastically that he thinks about
taking his own life.

Cool, a whole film centered around the gurdy, with gurdy soundtrack. It is
a short feature, of course, but that is quite interesting. I will check
with people I know to know when and how we can get a hold of the whole film.

P.S. In here they use "zanfona" as well, and the movie is, as far as I
know, in Galician. The name of the movie even is "Zinfonía"
