We have 2 active LPARS, Prod & Test.
I've been trying to build an IOCP to cover both lpars but haven't had much
success.
We just got a DS8000 (2107) and I'm moving the DASD of of a 2105 Shark.
I was able to get the new IOCP to work with the Test lpar but I don't know
how to get the prod lpar to see the new devices.
I was able to dope out the you need an OS configuration (I think) for both in
order to share (use one IOCP gen in slot A3 name SYS1.IODF5, I have an
associated work IODF05 for this also).
Can anyone (expert in IOCP) give me some direction how to do this so the hair
on the other side of my head can grow back, it's driving me crazy, I've tried
all sorts of options but can't get any further then having the test lpar see
the new devices.
How do I generate 2 OS configurations, one for test and one for prod lpars to
use IODF05.
Any help will be greatly appreciated.
