Slot A3  is the IOCS  this is the hardware definition, normally have the two
names of LPAR and all devices.

I didn't understand if you have one master catalog or two, and if TEST and
PROD LPAR are sysplex or alone each one.

But, if you have an IODF like SYS1.IODF05 in TEST Lpar and this work with
all devices.
You can only use this same to the PROD Lpar, if same master catalog is just
use it, if different master catalog, do a copy
of this dataset and catalog in the PROD lpar  master catalog and use.

The LOADxx in SYS1.PARMLIB has the information to use IODF..... Verify your
LOADxx in TEST Lpar and use
equal in PROD Lpar.

When you copy SYS1.IODF05 from TEST lpar to PROD Lpar if the master catalog
is different from each one, it doesn't make difference if you use same name
or different name.
