I have one sitting out there now called OS390 but only my Test lpar can see and use it. -- snip -- Howard, let me highly recommend looking at HCD user's guide SC33-7988 for a more detailed explanation of how to define the hardware configuration. Basically - 1. The IODF needs to define both LPARs 2. An OSCONFIG (or multiple OSCONFIGs for each seperate DASD configuration) 3. The IODF needs to be loaded into the Hardware (IOCP) 4. Each MVS needs to have the (or a copy) of this IODF. 5. Define an LPARNAME <lpar> statement in the LOADxx member for each MVS system. There are many more details, but you'll find them all in the HCD user's guide.
