of VERs issue OR just do the the ZAP on YOUR Maintenance copy and
ship that APAR as a MOD not a ZAP.
MODs in PTFs are customarily shipped in SYSPUNCH format. Can
AMASPZAP operate on that format? Of course he _could_ ship
PTFs in RELFILE format -- how would customers feel about that?
Question - Does the ZOS Link Editor/Binder still support REP cards in
an Object Deck? If so, the ZAP REPs can easily me made into OBJECT
DECK REPs and placed just before the END card.
As to shipping in RELFILE format, that depends on how the maintenance
is shipped in the first place. I think an XMIT format file can create
the correct files for input into SMP along with the needed SMPE
Statements.
