Comment #29 on issue 747 by [email protected]: Feature suggestion:
Keyboard Shortcut for Specific IM
http://code.google.com/p/ibus/issues/detail?id=747
I have tried the solution from <a href="#c20">#20</a> and have found it
incorrect. Here is an example. Suppose I press: C0, C1, S, C2, C3, C4, C5.
S runs the command "ibus engine $ENGINE". Process startup is not immediate,
so engine is switched after C3. So C2, C3 are interpreted by the old
engine, and C4, C5 are interpreted by the new engine. The reason is that S
does not detain keyboard messages until "ibus" exits.
To reproduce this incorrect behavior, run "echo 3 >
/proc/sys/vm/drop_caches" before.
