You asked if this issue is “ibus” or “each ibus engine”. _This issue_ is
not “each ibus engine”, nor handled with Ctrl+space.
My mention was for Muhenkan, Henkan or Zenkaku_Hankaku key which has no
modifiers keys.
Your issue was treated in ibus 1.5 Ctrl+space.
