Just wanted the folks there to know about my involvement in my own LUG in Ottawa. I don't go to many meetings as I am more of a "Free Software" advocate than a "Linux" user, but there are times when the two merge.
See: http://weblog.flora.ca/article.php3?story_id=248 My talk will be: "From Raymond to Stallman: Open Source equality or Free Software public policy?" I will be doing an OOo slideshow, and can add in notes to the slides and send it to someone there if there is interest. This is Canada-centric, so would need to be updated by someone already familiar with (or interested in) learning comparable public policy areas in India/WB/Calcutta. --- Russell McOrmond, Internet Consultant: <http://www.flora.ca/> See http://weblog.flora.ca/ for announcements, activities, and opinions Submission to Innovation Strategy | No2Violence in Politics http://www.flora.ca/innovation-2002.shtml | http://www.no-dot.ca/ -- To unsubscribe, send mail to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with the body "unsubscribe ilug-cal" and an empty subject line.
