Compass 2. Industrial Fair 3. Book Fair 4. Any Other Computer Centric Fair/Expo Ontrack has cleary indicated that it will give space in its stalls to ilug-cal .. FREE ! wherever it participates .. i'm SURE there are kind souls in EVERY event who will be willing to do that for ilug-cal in their events too ! question is what solid reasons can we invent to NOT do it ? like its been happening till now .. this not that .. that not this .. vote .. for only one (case in point .. each member in compass had 15 votes .. for choosing exec. com members ! AND the exe com members went to the dias in reverse order .. the one getting the least votes 1st .. and the one getting the max votes, 91 out of 104 present and voting .. went to the dias last .. and the voting was done by mouse clicks ! on a pc .. 1st time in any venue that i've seen .. h/w & s/w used by the forum that promotes it ! .. even management institutes IIM's do not practise the management they tech ! ) comments are NOT invited .. this is NOT a discussion .. all those who would like to volunteer, please do so .. those who wouldn't be able to volunteer, please do not dampen the spirits of the others who would want to go ahead .. we've had enough of this here already .. now things are looking up and going ahead .. so i'm filtering out comments on this topic on my posts .. no negatives please .. criticism allowed only if alternatives and/or suggestions are included .. just criticising and putting a spoke in the wheel is just NOT welcome ! ..pk -- To unsubscribe, send mail to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with the body "unsubscribe ilug-cal" and an empty subject line.
