To try and set your mind at ease I've been using macs for something like
13 years and have never had any hardware break. I've run everything from
classics to IIc's to quadra's to the pismo powerbook and iMac rev A I use
now. I thoroughly abuse all my equipment and I am a destructive owner,
yet I've never had to replace, or have repairs done, on anything.
