As someone who's had lots of experience working over-the-phone tech
support... you need to be more patient and realize that the support people
are, in all likliehood, doing their best to try and help you solve the
problem, but one person often does not have all the answers, or even
*access* to somewhere to *find* all the answers... so you get transferred to
someone with more information, who is often not in the same room, building,
or state, so yes, you may hear something repeated. Just have a little
patience and realize that these are *people* on the other end of the phone,
and all parties will be much happier and more at ease. FWIW, I have had
nothing but stellar service from Apple... but of course, as always, YMMV.

Regarding the TTP/AppleCare/OS9 issue... wonder why Apple doesn't include
Micromat's Drive 10 as well as Tech Tool Pro? Maybe they'll start soon?
