He he, that makes me think of the fan I've got for my 128K...

It may not sound too funny for a Yank, but for a Brit... ;o) ---
I wonder when someone is going to come up with a small adhesive external fan kit specifically designed for iMacs that will silently blow
or suck air through them. Every iMac owner would want one to extend the life of the failure-prone components in the iMac and cool the DVD player.
Hmmm, not wanting to sound clever, but that's what I've fixed on mine, a 12V brushless PC fan running on a slightly lower voltage PSU so as to keep the fan extra quiet. :o)
I've just gotta work out whether it's best to fit it on top and suck the air out or underneath and blow the air in...
One other considderation is not to fit it so that if the fan should fail, it would obstruct the natural (convection) air flow, thus compounding the problem.
