basically this means that after this next Palm upgrade I will have to find a new PDA more compatible with my mac. Unhappiness abounds.
BTW, thanks for the info on the palm OS, didn't realize there was a compatible version of the palmo OS for my palm that's native to OS X. I DLd it and it works great!
No, it just means that you can't use POS 6-required hardware. The hardware that uses POS 5 will still work. My plan is to stock up on Tungsten T3 machines when they go on close out. That way I'll have spares if one craps out. Besides your only other option is Microsoft Pocket PC. Jobs really screwed up when he killed the Newton.
