After that, My whole life is on the computer, which means I now also need to upgrade to a newer Palm pilot that has an OS X native Pam desktop.

The current, and probably the final, version of Palm Desktop for Macintosh 4.x is OS X compatible, You can get it free at PalmSource (?) or whatever the Palm OS folks are calling themselves now. Just remember that Palm OS 5 is the last version of the Palm OS that will be Mac friendly. Palm OS 6 will not work with the current Palm Mac desktop and PalmSource says that they will not support the Mac OS with POS 6. So eventually there won't be any Mac-compatible PDA/Smartphone's unless Apple gets its act together and either converts the iPod into a PDA or brings back a new version of the Newton.
