BUZZZZZZ..... WRONG ANSWER! (Please don't take that BUZZ the wrong way, I really do appreciate the suggestions) Seriously though. These e-mails were not sent twice. Also, the duplicate e-mails were not due to a "loose" server as another poster suggested. Here is an example that might shed some light on the problem. This morning at 8:09am I received an email from the Imail List Server. The email was duplicated and I received it twice. Every email I received was duplicated until the last duplicate e-mail was received at 10:10am. Since this time, no more duplicate e-mails. This was taken from the Imail log for the 8:09am email: 20021113 080901 127.0.0.1 SMTPD (04690066) [64.169.228.40] connect 156.21.1.21 port 4213 20021113 080901 127.0.0.1 SMTPD (04690066) [156.21.1.21] EHLO list.ipswitch.com 20021113 080901 127.0.0.1 SMTPD (04690066) [156.21.1.21] MAIL FROM:<[EMAIL PROTECTED]> 20021113 080901 127.0.0.1 SMTPD (04690066) [156.21.1.21] RCPT To:<[EMAIL PROTECTED]> 20021113 080902 127.0.0.1 SMTPD (04690066) [156.21.1.21] D:\IMail\spool\D791d046900667a6a.SMD 2014 20021113 080902 127.0.0.1 SMTP (1796) processing D:\IMail\spool\Q791d046900667a6a.SMD 20021113 080902 127.0.0.1 SMTP (1796) ldeliver mail.spacebag.com estevenson-main (1) [EMAIL PROTECTED] 2014 20021113 080902 127.0.0.1 SMTP (1796) finished D:\IMail\spool\Q791d046900667a6a.SMD status=1 This was the only entry I could find in the log for 10:10am with my user: 20021113 101049 127.0.0.1 POP3D (000005F8) logon success for estevenson mail.spacebag.com from 64.169.228.34 The first none duplicated email came at 10:13am, here are the log entries for that mail: 20021113 101325 127.0.0.1 SMTPD (0389009C) [64.169.228.40] connect 156.21.1.21 port 3629 20021113 101325 127.0.0.1 SMTPD (0389009C) [156.21.1.21] EHLO list.ipswitch.com 20021113 101325 127.0.0.1 SMTPD (0389009C) [156.21.1.21] MAIL FROM:<[EMAIL PROTECTED]> 20021113 101325 127.0.0.1 SMTPD (0389009C) [156.21.1.21] RCPT To:<[EMAIL PROTECTED]> 20021113 101325 127.0.0.1 SMTPD (0389009C) [156.21.1.21] D:\IMail\spool\D96450389009c5cf4.SMD 2812 20021113 101325 127.0.0.1 SMTP (2100) processing D:\IMail\spool\Q96450389009c5cf4.SMD 20021113 101325 127.0.0.1 SMTP (2100) ldeliver mail.spacebag.com estevenson-main (1) [EMAIL PROTECTED] 2812 20021113 101325 127.0.0.1 SMTP (2100) finished D:\IMail\spool\Q96450389009c5cf4.SMD status=1 One other thing, none of my users have reported duplicate emails (many probably wouldn't tell me), but I am definitely getting duplicates at times. Also, I am using webmail, where as none of the users here are. Any suggestions are appreciated. If you check the Message-ID: headers of both E-mails, and they are different, the E-mail was sent twice. If they are the same, you can check the log files, and you should be able to find out what happened. -Scott --- Declude: Anti-virus, Anti-spam and Anti-hijacking solutions for IMail. http://www.declude.com --- [This E-mail was scanned for viruses by Declude Virus (http://www.declude.com)] To Unsubscribe: http://www.ipswitch.com/support/mailing-lists.html List Archive: http://www.mail-archive.com/imail_forum%40list.ipswitch.com/ Knowledge Base/FAQ: http://www.ipswitch.com/support/IMail/ To Unsubscribe: http://www.ipswitch.com/support/mailing-lists.html List Archive: http://www.mail-archive.com/imail_forum%40list.ipswitch.com/ Knowledge Base/FAQ: http://www.ipswitch.com/support/IMail/
