Duplicate messages usually happen when the user goes to download there messages

from Outlook. And for some reason they loose there connection. When the connection to the Mail server is loose
and the message is not sent back from the Email Program letting the mail server know to clean up the messages from the server.
Then the next time that the Mail program access the Mail server, to download the messages, The mail server will send duplicate messages.
Now for some reason, this does not happen all the time. But, from my experiance of dealing with that happening, when my mail server was
connected onto a 56k dialup, It tend to happen right frequently.. So, this I was use to, and the customers that was with me at that
time, was use to as well. As once a month, I would have to drop connection and re-connect. Do to slugish speeds. That would cause
errors, in my event log.
So, check with your client, and see if for some reason, the email was download and then stopped. either from there end, or due to
heavy traffic. Or maybe from the Mail Server end.
